The Lions Club of Dorchester & District received it's Charter in 1970, and has continued to provided a service to the local community since that date.Quote from the International President Jimmy Ross -"As Lions we need to first take care of our own community, where our member's live. We are an asssociate member of the Lion Clubs International, which is the worlds largest and most active service organisation in the world, with a total membership nearing 1.4 million in 191 countries
and geographical areas.
